Grace

Grace

Amazing grace how sweet the sound,
How blessed the hand that gives it to me.
It is elegance, polite, gentle, and beautiful beyond compare.
From the goodness, kindness, and mercy of God’s heart
Grace is bestowed to the man who has humble heart and yielding way.
Grace is the infinite, inexhaustible and incalculable precious.
A costly gift purchased by the Lord and free given to us
To covers the multitude of sins of man’s heart.
Christ’s grace allowed Him to leave heaven’s riches and glory
And be born as child in a lowly manger and walk the Earth as man.
God’s grace allow us to be called a child of the most high God,
When lost, ungrateful, detestable, vile, disgusting, unlovable, sinner
More closely reflected our former state and the title we deserved.
It is Christ’s grace that gives us abundant life and removes our chains.
Grace is the Holy Spirit come down to live inside of man.
It is God’s generosity of spirit to the former sinful man
Which allows him approach the presents of the throne of the Holy One.
Grace is unmerited mercy and favor given to the undeserving sinner.
It is a privileged position granted, to one when we have no right to one.
It is God’s grace that keeps us from falling into the pit we dug for others.
Only grace keeps the beggar, addicted, thief, adulator, or pervert
We are looking at with disgust from being us.
It is by grace we are not born under the curse of poverty or illness.
It is by grace that we are not the prisoner on death row.
Grace is a voice saying give them one more chance
When we have already failed four hundred and ninety times.
Man chooses to run head long into sin folly
And in his sin he makes a mountain of trouble for himself.
God’s grace allows man to recover when he repents
And places man’s feet back upon holy ground.
When we have sinned to the point that God says repent or die
And we wisely choose life and forgiveness.
It is grace that allows God to remember it no more for His benefit
And restore us to Himself with all privileges reinstated.
It is grace that gives us freedom from sin and death.
However, grace is never an excuse to go out and willful sin.
Grace is sufficient for whatever pain and sorrow that lays ahead
And permits us to endure the testing of our faith.
It is God’s grace that brings us out of the flames unharmed.
It is by grace and not our own works that we are saved
Least we be foolish and boast to God that we have done it.
Grace cannot be earned for we can never be good enough.
We must accept grace of salvation from Jesus Christ alone.
He saw our need and did what we could not do.
Grace should never be taken for granted, lest we lose it.
It is meant to bring us to our knees in thanksgiving and praise
And to show us the heart of Jesus Christ and His Father.
