Christmas Morining

Blessed morning let your light shine forth
Proclaiming joy to all the earth,
Filling every nook and cranny with hope
And releasing peace to a weary world
On this birthday of the King of Kings.
Let the heaven’s glory and power
Fall once again upon man’s heart
Freeing it from its darkness and despair.
Cross the hands of time to beam
The message that the hope that man had anticipated
With joyful expectation has been fulfilled.
Beautiful rays of light shoot across the sky with glee
Celebrating and rejoicing again with all creation
For once again, the Earth will feel the feet
Of its creator walk upon its grasses.
Explode in delightful rays, oh mighty sun,
Impart to shepherds and kings alike that
Man could see again the face of God.
A precious, priceless gift of love, Immanuel
Is resting graceful and gently in a mother’s arms.
Oh, star of David, star of Bethlehem
Announce again the good news of Jesus birth
And wonder and thrill of God’s precious answer
To the needs of the lost sheep of Israel
A miracle wrapped in swaddling clothes
Has come to defeat death and Hell.
Little lion of Judah, promised one
Expose to all the grace of a loving God.
Let the light that danced in delight and elation
With ecstasy on the babe so long ago burst forth again
Illuminating once again the savior story
For it saw God’s gift to humanity in a manager
Sleeping peacefully that blessed morning.

Just as His radiance and holiness revealed
Sinful man’s need for salvation and forgiveness
The vivid light of this perfect lamb, still
Radiated deep inside the heart of man
Melting away the cold grasp of sin’s hold
With a beauty and intensity
That only the angels had seen before.
Daystar, Holy, bright and fair
Spread your dazzling glow of love
Unto the four corners of the Earth
Liberating a saving faith to man
And life ever after in heaven’s clouds.
Sing praises of His greatness
On this His Holy birthday.
